The keys to Mothell were collected this morning.
There are more keys than rooms listed in the transfer documents.
Most are unmarked. Some are bent, rusted, or tied together with old paper tags that no longer match the current room plan. The previous owner’s representative could not explain the discrepancy and advised us to “keep anything that still turns.”
We entered through the front office shortly after 9:00 AM. The property is in worse condition than expected. The reception desk has suffered water damage, the hallway carpet is lifting, and several doors along the west corridor are swollen shut.
A guest register was found behind the counter, but the final pages appear to have been removed.
No rooms were cleared today. Initial access only.
Restoration will begin once the building is made safe.
Several checkout records remain incomplete.
